Dr Jean-François Lévesque
General dentist and owner
Dr. Jean-François Lévesque is a dedicated general dentist and owner of his own dental centre in Gatineau, with over 20 years of experience.
A graduate of Université Laval with a master’s degree in dental science from Donau University (Austria), he has extensive expertise ranging from orthodontics to implantology, including craniomandibular disorders (TMJ), surgery, neuromodulator (Botox®) and filler injections, and digital restorations.
Known for his thoroughness and human approach, he uses the most advanced technologies to provide precise, comfortable, and personalized care. A guest professor at the CDOCS Institute in Toronto, Charlotte, and Scottsdale, and a trainer for dentists in his region, he actively contributes to the evolution of digital dentistry in Quebec.

Rigorous training in the pursuit of excellence
A native of New Brunswick, Dr. Jean-François Lévesque discovered a deep interest in overall health and precision manual work at an early age. He completed his dental studies at Université Laval in 2002, where his passion for occlusion, function, and smile aesthetics was born.
Always guided by a desire to understand dentistry in all its complexity, he went on to pursue a master’s degree in dental sciences at Donau University in Austria. Under the guidance of renowned Professor Rudolf Slavicek, he furthered his knowledge of occlusion, TMJ disorders, and orofacial rehabilitation. His career also led him to publish a scientific article on the sphericity of occlusion in the International Journal of Stomatology and Occlusion Medicine in 2012.
In recognition of his expertise, he was awarded the title of Fellow of the International Association for Orthodontics (FIAO) in 2014.
The creation of a modern, multidisciplinary centre
In 2011, he founded his own dental centre in Gatineau, which he expanded in 2022 to fully integrate digital technologies such as CEREC, InLab, CAD/CAM design, 3D tomography (CBCT), and 3D printing. Thanks to these tools, he offers his patients a comprehensive service including:
- orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics
- TMJ disorders
- implantology
- gum graft
- endodontics
- surgery, including complex extractions
- advanced cosmetic rehabilitation
- neuromodulators and fillers
- treatment of sleep apnea
- digital planning and in-house lab.
This integrated approach enables him to ensure consistent quality and a high level of precision, and to offer his patients an optimal experience.
Professional commitment and knowledge transfer
Recognized in the field of digital dentistry, Dr. Lévesque became an active member of the CDOCS network and was appointed visiting faculty in 2024 at the academies in Toronto, Scottsdale, and Charlotte. His role consists of sharing his expertise with practitioners who wish to integrate digital technologies into their clinical practices.
Contributing to the profession is an essential pillar for him: he also offers personalized continuing education to dentists in the region, promoting the continuous improvement of care provided to the population.

Outside of the office, he is a husband, father, and part-time goalie. He is also passionate about tracking wounded big game after a hunt as a bloodhound handler with his faithful dog Gwen, a Hanoverian Red.
